  • Our bikes are built with one simple goal to make the best road bike on the market!

    How do we do that?

    • Our bikes are completely designed and manufactured in Brisbane Australia

    • We manufacture all of our custom carbon components in house to individual specifications and the highest possible tolerances

    • Sugarloaf cycles are custom fitted to your geometry.

    • All Sugarloaf bicycles are designed by Steve George, our founder. He brings 20 years of professional cycling experience to inform ride feel and handling in every bike we make.

    • We keep you in the loop. We will be in contact and let you know, where you build is at. We will send you updates and pictures of your bike as it is being built.

    • Check our website and decide which model is right for you. We offer ARGOS models with wheel clearance out to 35mm and the HEROS with 40mm clearance.

    • Drop us an email and we will get in contact.

    • If you are ordering a custom geometry bike, send us your bike fit data.

    • We will be in contact to discuss the data and suggest how we can customise the bicycle to best suit your riding style and preferences

    • Decide on group-set and wheel options.

    • Pay a deposit and we will start the manufacturing process and order you personalised components

    • Decide on your custom paint scheme

    • Once the bike is completed either come in and see us or we can ship to you

    • We offer flexible pricing based on build type and complexity.

    • Our base cost for a frame-set is AUD$ 12500.

    • Full build price depends on components and wheel set chosen

    • While our bikes come standard with ENVE In-Route bars and wheels, you can supply you own electronic group-set and through axle disc brake wheels.

    • We also offer a frame-set only option in either custom or standard geometry.

    • Frame sets are supplied with ENVE forks and seatpost

    • Our build time from receiving your deposit and bike fit data is approximately 4 months

  • Our goal is to always keep our customers informed and involved at the build process

    • We will keep you up to date on how you build is progressing

    • We will send pics and videos as you bike comes together
